However, the upgraded and refreshed model of Maruti Swift has been spotted in New Delhi when Maruti is performing its test drive.

The modifications done so far is so proportionate that its very difficult to notice the change at first glance but cannot go unnoticed either. Under the hood of modification new Maruti Swift includes a new bumper design and a elongated headlamps. In addition to this integrated indicators and a redesigned side mirror is added in new Maruti Swift, which give a new look to it. Along with elegant exteriors new Maruti Swift features a very comfortable and spacious interior as it is slightly larger than the current one. A new dashboard with integrated music system and climate control will add elegance to its beauty. The same kind of interior can be seen earlier in Maruti Kizashi. As far as color scheme is concerned the interiors is expected to come in grey color.

The new Maruti Swift will be available in both petrol and diesel variant. The petrol variant will composed of a 1.2 litre petrol engine which churns out a power of 84 Bhp where as Maruti Swift Diesel is likely to come infix with a 1.3 litres multi-jet engine. As per reports the refreshed Maruti Swift will come fixed with a 15 inch alloy wheels with a shod of 195/60 R 15 tyres.
