2010 Nissan GT-R FIA GT1
Nissan Motorsports International (Nismo) announced it has signed an agreement with the two teams for the series FIA GT1 World Championship in the GT-R R35 compete in the year 2010. The R35 GT-R will be played by the High Power GT team from the United Kingdom and Switzerland Team Racing. For more detailed information, including line drivers, will be announced later.
GT-R is a pilot GT1 rear wheel and is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 VK56DE engine tuned to 600 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It is equipped with 6-speed Ricardo transmission through triple carbon clutch and take the land with 18-inch x 13-inch forged wheels for the Rays.
Nissan’s participation in the FIA GT1 race has been in the works for some time. Last year, tested the GT-R in GT1 several races. Now they seem ready for the competition.
Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Minami-Ooi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuichi Sanada; henceforth “NISMO”) announced that NISMO just signed the official partnership agreements for the FIA GT1 World Championship with Sumo Power GT (UK) and Swiss Racing Team (CH). Both teams will run two NISSAN GT-Rs respectively in the inaugural World Championship. NISMO will provide technical support to its new racing partners.
