Maruti Suzuki India is going to launch its new car, Maruti Swift, tomorrow that is August 17, 2011. The new Maruti Swift will be a revised version of current Maruti Swift having more features and specifications. The new Maruti Swift price is expected to be around 6 lakhs. As per our close sources, the car will be launched with six variants which are Maruti Suzuki Swift LXi BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift VXi BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift VXi ABS BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift LDi BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift ZXi BS IV, Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi ABS BS IV.

The body type of new Swift will be hatchback. All the variants will have air conditioning. Only Maruti Swift ZXi BS IV will also have audio system. The competitors of Maruti Swift will be Maruti Swift Dzire, Ford Figo, Maruti Ritz, Volkswagen Polo, and Chevrolet Best. The car will have larger interior space than that of current version of Maruti Swift. The new Maruti Swift has got around 38000 to 40000 advance bookings. This shows that the new Maruti Swift is so much popular among the consumers even before its launch.

The new Maruti Swift specification reveal that Maruti Swift will be launched with petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant of new Maruti Swift will have 1.2 litres engine which will produce the power of 87 PS and 11.5 kg of torque. The diesel variant of the new Maruti Swift will consist of 1.3 litres of DDSI diesel engine which will produce the power of 75 PS and generate a torque of 19.2 kg. The mileage of the petrol car is expected to be around 18.7 kmpl and that of diesel car is expected to be 22.9 kmpl. It shows that the new Maruti Swift will be fuel efficient.
