New Tata Aria 4x2 will available at Rs 11.62 lakh.

The Indian auto biggie Tata Motors is looking to launch the lower version of its new car Tata Aria which is composed of all the features of a sports utility vehicle. Tata Motors is going to launch its Aria in three trim levels, all with selectable Adapterra 4×4 and 4x2 – the Aria Pride at the top end, the Aria Prestige and the Aria Pleasure. Recently Tata Motors has announced the Tata Aria 4x2 price in Delhi at a gala event. The price of the Tata Aria 4×2 Pure which is the entry level model of Tata Aria is Rs 11.61 lakh and the price of its middle variant Tata Aria 4×2 Pleasure is Rs 12.61 lakh where as its high variant Tata Aria 4×2 Prestige is available at Rs 14.26 lakh (all prices ex showroom Delhi). The top and middle variant of Tata Aria 4X2 version viz: Tata Aria Pleasure and Tata Aria Prestige are similar of 4x4 variants. The only difference between both the variants is the deletion of 4x4 system. The new Tata Aria is likely to come with a 2.2 L, DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) diesel engine which generates the maximum power of 140 bhp @ 4000rpm and the peak torque of 320Nm @ 1700 rpm.

Earlier Tata Motors failed to create the charisma of success due to high Tata Aria price. Earlier company had priced the Tata Aria 2-3 lakh more as compared to Toyota Innova. Now in order to compete the other cars in the same segment like Toyota Innova company has to cut down its price. However, Tata Motors managed to reach the sales figure of 98 units last month, but due to slowdown in the Indian auto market Tata Motors had not make assumed sales. The all new Tata Aria will give a run to the other rivals such as Ford Endeavour, Toyota Innova, the upcoming SUV's like Force One and Mahindra W201.
