Hyundai India has plans to launch the Alto beater the Hyundai Eon. Hyundai Eon is based on A segment in India as the Alto – Segment leader able to fetch 25000-30000 units of sales every month only from this model with the help of six variants currently offered.
Hyundai Eon, codenamed HA, is the smallest car ever produced by the company worldwide and the Indian subsidiary gets to launch its exclusively in India.

Hyundai Eon small car is expected to be launched in India during the 2nd week of October. The Hyundai Eon small car which will attract the young buyers which sport the small “Fluidic” design that is seen in the i10, new Verna and the upcoming i20 facelift slated to be launched next year. Hyundai Eon has been developed using one of Hyundai’s six platforms that it uses for all its cars.
Hyundai Eon small car is 3.5-meters in length and the car will feature some intelligent packing and interior design has been combined with surprises and space in the cabin. Even the bottled water holder was shipped with 18 brands size and shape to design the right holder.

Hyundai Eon will be powered by a 800cc engine that produces 56PS of peak power and 7.65 Kgm of peak torque and the same gearbox offered on the Santro has been carried forward into the Eon.
Hyundai will form a quartet once the Eon joins the small car segment by next year which will join the Santro, i10 and the i20. Hyundai Eon’s price will be very close to the Santro model.
We still yet to know whether Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) will be part of this one too.
