Renault is a French automaker which was once has ties with Mahindra and Mahindra. Now the ties between the two auto biggies has been broken and Renault India wants to sell the car of its own brand. Renault India is planning to launch Renault Koleos. It is speculated that Renault Koleos will be launched on 8th of September this year. Renault India has started its journey with the launch of Renault Fluence on 23rd May this year.

Renault Koleos is the second offering by Renault India. The Renault Koleos price in India is expected to be in the range of Rs 16 lakh to 18 lakh. The main competitors of the Renault Koleos are Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva, Honda CR-V, Mistubishi Outlander and many others. Koleos features reveal that the Renault Koleos will be available only as a diesel variant. The car consist of a powerful 2L DCI turbo engine which will produce a power of 150 BHP and a torque of 340 Nm. The gearbox consist of six speed options to power the wheels at every gearshift. The Renault Koleos SUV will be will be a four wheel drive car.
