Nissan Sunny has been launched in India for Rs 5.8 – 7.8 lakh. Meanwhile diesel version of the car is planned given the booming market of diesel cars in India
Nissan remains in news in India. The company has big plans for one of the most attractive car markets in the world and after making announcement for petrol version of its entry level sedan Sunny, the French carmaker has said it plans to produce diesel variant as well.
Given the price tag and specifications, the new Nissan Sunny is going to be very attractive for the Indian car fans who have now a big pool to choose from.
showcased its petrol version of Sunny in Hyderabad. The company has said that it wants to concentrate on South Indian market particularly in Kerala where bigger ratio of the population own cars compared to North India.
A report had suggested that as many as 40 percent households own cars in the southern most Indian states of Kerala.
The petrol variant is priced from Rs 5.8 lakh to Rs 7.8 lakh.
The company says it wants to sell as many as 40,000 units of Sunny from this year.
